Years later, I saw my first advertisement for a "combat-ready" lightsaber, but knew I couldn't justify spending $300 on a toy like that. ![]() While they are gorgeous, they are also very fragile. As we grew up, cheap plastic turned to bamboo, or polyurethane, and the relatively durable lightsabers were replaced by our all-time prized Christmas gifts 2007 Master Replicas versions of Anakin's (brother) and Vader's (me) lightsabers. Really, it was what we could get our hands on, but some of the "extendable" lightsabers from the Prequel-era marketing were among the more durable we used. Growing up, my younger brother and I always enjoyed play fighting with plastic weapons. I wanted to get a comprehensive feel for it before I wrote up a review, and I think we're there now.įor context, a little background on me feel free to skip this paragraph and the next if you're looking for a review with a little less "personality". I purchased an Evo-Flex from Electrum back in February, and I've had it for a little less than a month.
